An Evening of Art & Shopping

I went to check out the good stuff from Styleliner last night at the Allegra LaViola gallery and immediately fell in love with the jewellery. Some really original necklaces and cuffs that the owner Joey Wolffer found all around the world, not to mention the cool concept of turning an old potato chip truck into a mobile boutique!

Also quite intriguing was Andrea Mary Marshall’s “Toxic Women” exhibition showcasing the artist’s reinterpretation of various Vogue covers, self portraits, and Louis Vuitton bag sculptures with painted confessions on them. Provocative visuals that make you think about the clichés surrounding the modern women and their role within pop culture. A must-see in my opinion…
